A horizontal plane and a bronzed brass support.  New Guinea represents a new idea of console, the result of a research project focused on the interaction and fusion of the two main elements that make up the object. The support, consisting of a web of brass tubular positioned and connected together according to certain lines of force, exceeds in the plan and appropriates part of the support function, that is usually carried out by the horizontal element. The marble slab due to its weight contributes to the stability of the supporting structure that would otherwise be a victim of the lightness of the hollow elements that constitute it.
